Baiga is an indigenous tribe that lives in the jungles of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. They form the dominant percentage of the Indian tribal community, and worship the tiger. They call it Jai Baghesur. Every year, Tala Village in Bandhavgarh National Park, which is home to a considerable population of Baiga tribals, hosts an annual cultural festival, called Jai Baghesur. It runs for four days and offers visitors a chance to see local folk art, culture as well as taste food and experience their dance and music.
