dont la variété est loin de déplaire. Je ne sais si leurs élans tiennent à leur vélocité naturelle plutôt qu'à l'emportement. Il n'est point d'espace si long qu'ils ne franchissent en un instant;

Russian Emergency Situations Ministry reported that the total area of wildland fires in Russia since the beginning of fire season this year, more than in the corresponding period in 2010 almost tripled to more than 600,000 hectares.
Of course, these estimates may be quite different from reality: for example, to independent estimates, the area of forest in only one region, Yakutia, exceeded 1 million hectares this year.
WWF Russia considers measures taken by state
authorities to prevent and combat forest fires on the results of the fire disaster last year, proved to be inadequate.
Remains unclear responsibility for the prevention of forest fires on the territory of the former forest farms and forest belts. Not conduct outreach work with the public - it is replaced by a ban on visits forest. Program to flood the peat is implemented effectively. Despite the unprecedented recent years cash infusion in the management of forests (in 2011 the size of forest financing more than 33 billion rubles, which is more than 2-fold increase over the previous year), yet failed to ensure the effective management of forests - primarily because of the imperfection of the Forest Code (2006) and inefficient system of forest management in general.
FFA continues to spend huge sums on bureaucratic procedures. SPA
recently became aware of the fact that Federal State Unitary Enterprise
"Given the unplanned revenue from the sale of oil and gas, the state could make a long-term investment in a radical reform of forest management, provide proper care for them in the development of the region, high economic efficiency of forestry and fire safety in the woods. Only one restoration of the state forest protection will give the village a real and necessary work of the country not less than 70 thousand people and clean air smog from peat, but that will invest in overcoming the bureaucratic difficulties that state to itself and creates an as yet unknown ", - says Nikolay Shmatkov .
The most difficult situation with a fire develops in Yakutia, the Khanty-Mansiysk, Ugra, the Irkutsk Region and the Khabarovsk and Krasnoyarsk regions.
A "significant impact on improving fire safety in forests has anthropogenic activities of man. Cluttered cutting, burning, raw and barbaric past conduct "clean" under the bed of the future reservoir Boguchanskaya HPP resulted in a sharp increase in fire danger in the Angara region, the region where the harvested one-fifth of all Russian forests - commented forest program coordinator of WWF-Russia in the Altai-Sayan ecoregion Alexander Bryukhanov. - According to our estimates, in an area where being in bed lesosvodka future reservoir, were thrown hundreds of thousands of cubic meters of felled timber. According to documents, this territory is already "cleaned", but actually in the area of future flooding is now just an abandoned litter of stem wood averages 30 to 70 cubic meters per hectare, and in some places reaches up to 150 cubic meters per hectare.
"For the outrage perpetrated in the woods, innocent people have to pay. Now tens of thousands of Angara breathing smog from fires, and 20 thousand people were deprived of electricity due to the fact that out of control fires destroyed transmission lines ", - said Alexander Bryukhanov...
ENJEUX POLITIQUES

June 8 WWF Russia and the Association of Indigenous Peoples of the Primorsky Territory conducted in Vladivostok, a press conference on the threat of deforestation in Primorye key areas for the Amur tiger.
In May 2011 an agreement was signed between the forest management of Primorsky Territory and Joint-Stock
Company "Les Export" to lease the company to a large timber forest in the lower reaches of the
Bikin River. This array includes a walnut-fishing zone in Zvenevskom district forestry, as well as the territory of the reserve
created
"Les
Export" is also applied in forest management Primorsky Krai to conclude a lease agreement for the harvesting of timber on the site in the middle reaches of the Bikin River,
including most of the Bikin nut-fishing zones. This area in 1993 was officially declared the territory of traditional
nature, and in June 2009 was leased to indigenous communities

- Can I nominate the area for inclusion in the list of World Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO and give it away to the wheelhouse to the project for the production of parquet?
- Why forestry campaign hard to seek the right to cut protective forests in the Primorsky Territory?
- Can the implementation of such projects to reduce the attractiveness of the Far East for foreign investors ahead of the APEC summit in Vladivostok?
These and other questions will be raised at a press conference to be held June 8 at 14.00 at the office of WWF-Russia Amur branch at: Vladivostok, Verkhneportovaya, 18-a.

MENACE DE DEFORESTATION SUR LES DERNIERS ÎLOTS INTACTS DU PRIMORYE.
Vente des parcelles prévue le 29 Juin. Source : Phoenix Fund, 27 Mai.
The heads of Luchegorsk, Fedoseev, Nagorny and Pozharsky towns opposed the sell by auction of Luchegorsky and Pozharsky district forestry for cutover. Officials co-operated with conservationists and NGOs in their appeal to Primorsky krai governor Sergei Darkin.
The Primorsky forest management notified the auction sale of the rights to the conclusion of lease contracts for a forest plot in Pozharsky district with a total area of 23 571 hectares. Auction
is appointed to 29th of June, 2011, the reserved price of a subject - 477 thousand rubles. It was stated that the given site "is burdened by the right of citizens to freely stay in woods and
harvest wild-growing and non-wood forestry products". The exploitation of woods by the tenant is specified as "wood production".
These forestlands are not only a greenbelt of Pozharsky area settlements but also a drinking water protective area on which Luchegorsk town depends on clean water and where the relic lotus of Komarov grows.
"These are the last islets of forest ecosystem untouched by logging. Considering adverse ecological conditions in the whole district, and in Luchegorsk town in particular, it is necessary to take all possible measures to prohibit cutting in these area", - ecologists say.
Today Pozharsky district desperately needs a large forest range. Annual emissions of polluting substances (including emissions from SDPP) to atmosphere make about 100 thousand tons a year. As a consequence – Pozharsky forge ahead of other districts of Primorye on oncological diseases.
The Phoenix Fund adhered to this appeal. “The forests of Pozharsky district are important for both people and wildlife, especially the endangered Amur tigers. Habitat loss is one of the biggest threats to big cat’s survival and logging in its site will significantly aggravate the situation. We hope that Krai Administration would not let the auction happen”, – says Sergei Bereznuk, director of the Phoenix Fund.
